Stars away to east london.


Current League Leaders played host to colchester on sunday at their canning town racway. With a recent in flux of younger riders joining this year, east london has been rejuvenated, currently only losing one match so far this season-to colchester stars.

East london took an early lead with good tactical riding the stars tought for every point and had an unfortunate machine failure for dave hobson putting him out of one race and an off for for liam spurgeon dropping him to last while challenging for the lead.

david brooks scored a race win and daniel bosley had a very good day. tony brooks scored a win and tem rode young conner wright through for his first win.

Stars managed to peg back the defficit to 11 points at one stage but then east londons stronger pairings cameout again to open it back up to 19 points the final race saw liam and dave out with liam gating in to first with dave in second and east london alec briggs were dead heated at the line. an exellent well mannered match with a high standerd of refereeing by dave palfryman.
